Departments

Read the departments configured in Exsited: list them a page at a time or retrieve one by its id.

Departments are the organisational units configured in your Exsited settings, each tied to a division. You can list them and retrieve one by its id. This area has 2 endpoints, each available in all seven SDKs.

Before you call

Register your API credentials once when your app starts, as shown in Authentication. Every SDK sample on these pages then gets its client in one line. With cURL, send the access token in an Authorization header: Authorization: Bearer $ACCESS_TOKEN.

Things to know

• Departments are read only here. This area lists and retrieves departments; it has no create, update or delete call.
• Department ids start with dept_. Pass that id as department_id.
• The list pages by cursor. Records are under data; pass pagination.next_cursor as cursor while pagination.has_more is true.
