# Reconciliations

> List the payments and refunds included in a bank reconciliation.

A reconciliation matches payments and refunds against a bank statement. This area has 2 endpoints, which list the payments and the refunds in one reconciliation. Every SDK supports all of them.

> **No successful response from these lists has been confirmed yet.** The record fields and the paging style of both lists are not documented.

## Before you call

Register your API credentials once when your app starts, as shown in
[Authentication](https://exsited.mintlify.site/authentication.md). Every SDK sample on these pages then gets its client in one line.
With cURL, send the access token in an `Authorization` header: `Authorization: Bearer $ACCESS_TOKEN`.

## Things to know

* **There is no endpoint for the reconciliation itself.** Only the two lists of its payments and refunds are available.
* **Name the reconciliation by its uuid or its numeric id.** Both forms are accepted in `{reconciliation_id}`.
* **An unknown reconciliation returns `404`.** The error code is `resource_not_found`.
* **Records are under `data`.** Both lists put their records under `data`.
